Since Åsmund Møll Frengstad founded CURRENT in 2014, we have played a crucial role in developing the industry standard, OCPP. As a result, it is natural for us to be among the first globally to receive certification when a new OCPP version is launched. Today, we are proud to announce that we are the first management system in the Nordic region to achieve both OCPP 2.0.1 CORE and Advanced Security certifications.

OCPP 2.0.1 represents the future of the industry, offering security improvements and new features such as Plug & Charge, V2G, and SmartCharging. This certification confirms that we have correctly implemented the new OCPP 2.0.1 protocol, ensuring our systems can fully utilize all the capabilities of OCPP 2.0.1 compliant charging boxes.

Additionally, this certification extends to our OCPP-Sandbox, our proprietary testing tool built on our market-leading management systems. With OCPP-Sandbox, you can now test the OCPP 2.0.1 compatibility of your wallboxes with just a few clicks.
